Determining what version of Internet Explorer is installed
Note: These settings are for Windows 95 or higher. If you are
running another operating system, refer to your user manual.
1. Click on the 'Start' button.
2. Move your mouse over 'Settings', then click on 'Control Panel'.
3. Double-Click on 'Internet' or 'Internet Options'.
4. Click on the 'Connection' tab. If you do not have this tab, refer to
the update page.
5. If you have a 'Setup' button at the top, go to
Internet Explorer 5 (95/98). If you have a 'Connect' button at
the top, go to step 6. If you do not have either of these buttons, refer to the
update page.
6. Click on the 'Connect' button.
7. If the window that pops up reads 'Get Connected!' in bold, go to
Internet Explorer 4 (95). If the windows that pops
up reads 'Select an option, then click Next', go to
Internet Explorer 4 (98).
8. If you reach this step, you should go to the update page.
